You can send both email and SMS messages to participants registered onto your event.
You can find this on the event page under 'Communications tool.' You can send emails through the communication tools at no additional charge, however the sending of an SMS costs 6p (subject to a 320-character limit, after which point it will be charged as two SMS messages).
After clicking on 'Communications tool', please click on 'Create email'.
Here, you can double check your recipients list before clicking 'Save'.
In the email setup, you can enter a subject line and body text. You can also attach files by clicking on 'Choose file' if required.
You can send a test email to check the contents prior to sending out the email to all recipients, if you wish.
You can either send the email immediately, schedule it to be sent on a predetermined date or time, or alternatively, you can set it to send a set number of days before or after the event has taken place. This means that you can use the tool for reminders, notifications, and to gain feedback after the event has taken place.
